Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
